CAUSSES - CEVENNES

CAUSSES The « Grands Causses' and their surroundings are abounding in many fossils, and the Millau Museum offers a complete collection of them. The grounds of the primary era gave us a big diversity of reptiles and amphibias prints. The marine deposits of the secondary era gave us many dinosaur prints and fossils (ammonites). From these different levels, comes the first complete plesiorus discovered in France.
